Bengals WR’s Ja’Marr Chase speaks on his first head-to-head showdown with Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner. Chase caught 6 passes (1o targets) for 29 yards and a TD in a 27-12 win over the New York Jets. It was the Bengals first win of the season as the AFC Champions look to shake off their early season rust.
As for the Jets, their 22-year-old 1st round pick continues to impress early on. Gardner and Chase exchanged jerseys after the game.

We also spoke to Tee Higgins after the Bengals win. Higgins got going early before briefly leaving the game after taking a hit to the head. Higgins was forced out of the Bengals Week 1 matchup vs. the Steelers in the 1st quarter after suffering a concussion. He caught a would-be touchdown early in the game but wasn’t able to come down and get his heel inbounds. When the year-three WR was asked if he thought it was a TD, he replied “For sure, I got robbed.”
