Week 4 of the NFL season kicked off with a bang last night as the Dolphins and Bengals met on Thursday Night Football out in Cincinnati. The Bengals continued to bounce back from their 0-2 start, winning their second game in the span of five days by a score of 27-15. The real story, though, was Miami star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa being removed from the game on a stretcher as time dwindled in the first half. After being taken down hard, the young QB remained down for almost ten minutes before being taken to the hospital with reported head and neck injuries.

Locally, the Giants get set to welcome in the Chicago Bears Sunday afternoon at 1 pm as three point favorites, and the Jets take a trip to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers at the same time. They currently sit as three point underdogs. Giants Head Coach Brian Daboll broke down his squad’s matchup with the Bears coming up at MetLife.

Checking in on the diamond, both the Mets and Yankees had the day off yesterday before they get set to dive into the home stretches of their respective regular season schedules. The Yankees return home to welcome in the Baltimore Orioles tonight at 7:05 pm eastern, with Domingo German set to take the hill against Baltimore’s Jordan Lyles. As for the Mets, they’ll send out ace Jacob deGrom in Game 1 of a big three-game set against the Braves in Atlanta. All hands are on deck as the series is primed to deliver a sure-fire division champ. First pitch is set for 7:20 pm eastern time, with Atlanta trotting out left-hander Max Fried. New York enters the series just one game up on the Braves in the National League East.
