Indianapolis Colts’ head coach Frank Reich said that Jonathan Taylor is undergoing further testing for a potential high-ankle sprain. Ian Rapoport reported the Colts believe the ankle injury is not very serious, though.

Despite the Colts lack of concern, there is the quick turnaround in Week 5, as they play the Broncos on Thursday night. The shortened week, put’s Taylor’s Week 5 in jeopardy.

“I’m not sure yet,” Reich responded when asked about Taylor’s availability. “We’ll see how things happen tomorrow morning.” Taylor left the game to get his ankle taped following a fumble on the team’s second-to-last possession and did not return. He rushed 20 times for 42 yards in the Colts’ Week 4 loss to the Titans, adding one catch for one yard on three targets.

Surprisingly, Taylor has been a fantasy disappointment thus far. In the last two weeks, he’s combined for just 113 yards on 41 carries (2.76 yards per carry.)

Jonathan Taylor, Matt Ryan, and the Colts will look to right the ship after an abysmal 1-2-1 start to the season, Thursday in Denver against the Broncos
