7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is in a bit of a pickle.

Earlier this morning, New York Post’s Page Six confirmed the daunting news that Mr. Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen have hired divorce lawyers after an “epic fight” between the couple. The scuffle began earlier this year when Brady returned to the sport of football after he initially retired following a divisional playoff loss to the eventual Super Bowl champs, the Los Angeles Rams.

They have reportedly been living apart from each other for the past couple of months and will now attempt to divide their assets, such as their $26 million real estate portfolio, which includes homes in New York, Montana, and Florida. Before the season began, Brady was out for 11 days during the preseason, the most notable time that he has taken off during that time in his career.

When he returned to the Buccaneers following his absence, he responded to questions about his whereabouts by saying “I’m 45 years old. There’s a lot of s*** going on.”

Now, he will have to go through a divorce in the middle of the NFL season, but if this past Sunday was any indication of how it is affecting Brady’s game, he seems to be just fine from a fantasy perspective. Brady and Bündchen have a combined net worth of about $650 million with Brady rocking with a $250 million net worth on his own. Page Six shared that both parties would share custody of their children in any separation. They have two kids and have been married for the past 13 years.
