According to multiple sources, WWE is reportedly bringing back a former live event that made some of the wrestling universe’s most iconic names.

‘King of the Ring’, which debuted in 1993 and ended it’s live event run in 2002, will reportedly be making it’s return to the WWE calendar. It is also being said that the live event will also include it’s Women’s WWE superstars counterpart- the Queen’s Crown Tournament.

Many of the names we know and love have been crowned King of the Ring, to the likes of Triple H, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin (which is also where the “3:16” catchphrase was born!), EdgeBrock Lesnar, and the most recently crowned Xavier Woods!

Reports have also said that the event will be featured on NBC‘s  Peacock streaming platform following WWE’s current ongoing deal with the company.
