After a blazing hot start to the season, this WR has dramatically tailed off over the last six weeks. However, with a glowing Week 9 matchup, he’s back into must-start territory.

Christian Kirk 55% Started

Let’s be frank, Kirk has struggled immensely as of late. Since Week 3, he’s averaged just 7.5 fantasy points per game. After a hot start to season for Trevor Lawrence, the Jaguars have lost five straight games and Kirk’s fantasy production has taken a hit.

With the Jags now emerging as a run heavy team thanks to the breakout of 2021 first-round pick Travis Etienne, owners may be looking for a replacement this week — but not so fast.

Despite the slump, Kirk is still seeing targets. He ranks 20th in the NFL in that column with 61, 17 of which have come in the last two weeks. With the Las Vegas Raiders on tap, it seems like a perfect spot for the $72 million dollar free agent to rebound. The Raiders rank 18th against WR’s, as they continue to trend in the wrong direction on both sides of the ball.

Vegas is projecting a lot of points in this game, as it’s the third highest O/U of the week. Expect Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars to score on this non-existent Raiders defense, and when they do, expect Christian Kirk to be in the middle of it.
