Samaje Perine 4% Owned

Samaje Perine had 11 rushes for 30 yards in the Bengals’ Week 11 win against the Steelers, adding four receptions for 52 yards and three touchdowns.

Perine functioned as the Bengals’ featured back after Joe Mixon left the game with a concussion in the second quarter. He played 80% of the remaining snaps. This led to 30 points on 15 touches. As a starter Perine averages 13.6 points on 19 touches. This production would rank Top-20 in 2022.

Just like we all predicted, 27-year-old finished as the RB2 this week despite averaging just 2.7 yards per carry.

The Spin:

With Mixon’s week 12 status in question – Perine projects as a strong start thanks to expected volume. The only two players that should be added over the pass-catching specialist are Isaih Pacheco (43% owned) and Rachaad White (35% owned) if available.
