If there is one thing that the New York Giants lack, it is talented receivers. Everyone in the Giants organization and community had high hopes for Kenny Golladay coming to Big Blue. In 2022, he’s accumulated 10 targets in 7 games. Daniel Jones needs more talent than just Saquon Barkley and Darius Slayton to move the chains through the air.

TE Daniel Bellinger — NYG vs Washington (2nd)

Daniel Bellinger (eye) looks like he is prepared to return to the field and reclaim his role as the starting TE for the New York Giants. He was limited in practice today, but head coach Brian Daboll said that he is “trending in the right direction” for week 13. Before his unfortunate exit at the Jaguars in week 7, Bellinger had scored a TD in the past two contests going for 10+ fantasy points in both games. Granted, it is quite a small sample size to evaluate the San Diego State product, but he was tied for the team lead in TDs before his exit, making him one to consider in deeper leagues if you are unsure of what to do at TE.

Wan’Dale Robinson (torn ACL) and Sterling Shepard (torn ACL) were supposed to be starting WRs on this team, but now they are gone for the season. The rest of the WR room behind Slayton is Richie James (knee), Isaiah Hodgins, Marcus Johnson, and David Sills V. The only negative is that Washington allows the second-fewest receiving yards to the TE department (32.3). Still, it’s a pivotal NFC East showdown against the Washington Commanders with more than just the divisional standings on the line, and with multiple key receivers gone, Bellinger is in a good spot to step up and provide the spark that the G-Men need.
