Cook is fresh off his best game of the season in which he touched the ball 20 times for 104 yards in the Bills Week 13 win over the Patriots.
The rookie posted a new season-high in carries, rushing yards, receptions and receiving yards in his coming out party. He also played 45% of snaps, out snapping Devin Singletary 33-32.
Cook, albeit in a small sample size ranks 7th amongst RB’s in yards per touch. He earns nearly two more yards per touch than Singletary.
While it may be an outlier, it’s fair to assume Cook will see an increased workload as the season progresses. Singletary has been a staple for the Bills offense season but remains the epitome of average.
The upside makes Cook the #1 add in waivers for Week 14.
