Michael Carter (ankle) is no longer on the Jets’ injury report.

The 23-year-old will officially return after a one week absence, and now looks to reclaim his role as a complementary back. Carter likely will split touches with rookie running back Zonovan Knight, who has totaled 221 yards from scrimmage over the last two weeks.

Robert Saleh spoke to the media earlier today and said Knight is “not going anywhere” when Carter returns. It’s fair to assume the rookie will lead the duo in touches vs. the Bills on Sunday

Carter has struggled this season averaging just 3.7 yards per carry on 99 attempts. He took over for the injured Breece Hall in Week 8.

James Robinson appears to be the odd man out of the Jets running back rotation for now. Gang Green are 9.5 point underdogs as they take flight to Buffalo.
