The Cowboys have not made a contract offer to Odell Beckham, NFL Network’s Jane Slater reports.

During his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Jerry Jones noted that the Cowboys have “serious concerns about his ability to play this season.”Jones did mention the two sides will continue to meet “to make sure we cover all the things that are important to him and important to us.”

Beckham didn’t work out for Dallas, so they were unable to see him cut or run routes. This would suggest, he’s yet to actually workout for any team he’s met with thus far. Nothing has indicated that Odell have even been medically cleared to return to the field yet.

The Cowboys were seemingly deemed the frontrunner for Beckham, but this point your guess is as good as ours. Micah Parsons said the three-time pro bowler told him he would be ready to play in five weeks. So that means playoffs at best under this scenario wherever he signs.

With his health now in question, it’s possible he remains unsigned though the remainder of the season. The 30-year-old is seeking a multi-year contract, but at this juncture, it may be beneficial for him to wait it out another year.

Odell has shown when healthy he can still help NFL teams win games, but the pressing issue; he’s never healthy.
