Saquon Barkley is not the only Giant in jeopardy this weekend. DE Leonard Williams (neck) joins him on that list and is listed as Doubtful for week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Williams played in last week’s tie against the Washington Commanders, but after three consecutive DNP’s over the past week, the team is much less optimistic that Williams will touch the field this time around. It would be the veteran’s 5th game on the sidelines this year.

Barkley (neck) was limited on Thursday and Friday, although he was not spotted with a no-contact jersey on Friday, suggesting that he is good for contact. Barkley is one of four RBs in the NFL with 1,000+ rushing yards on the year and is one of the most important pieces in Mike Kafka’s offensive schemes. This Sunday they play the Philadelphia Eagles, who possess the best record in the NFL (11-1). To say this game is a must-win is an understatement, so these two on the injury report has to raise some concerns on both sides of the ball.

We’ll have to wait 90 minutes before kick-off on Sunday to determine whether the Giants will be shorthanded. G Joshua Ezeudu (neck), G Shane Lemieux (toe), and CB Adoree’ Jackson (knee) have already been ruled Out for the contest while S Xavier McKinney (hand) continues to recover from his freak accident that happened during the Giants’ bye week.
