Jalen Brunson (right foot contusion) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

Brunson injured his foot during Sunday’s win over the Sacramento Kings when Davion Mitchell landed on it during the second half. He took a hard spill, limped to the locker room, and did not return to the game.

The 26-year-old has flourished in his first season with New York averaging 20.1 points and 6.3 assists per game. He has been a intrical part of the Knicks four-game win streak, which has propelled them to 6th in the Eastern Conference.

If Brunson is indeed forced to miss Wednesday’s game, he would join Obi Toppin on the shelf (knee), who is out for the next couple of weeks. Immanuel Quickley or Derrick Rose are the most likely candidates to replace him in the starting rotation, but Miles McBride could also have a bigger role as well coming off of the bench. McBride has had his minutes bumped up throughout the current winning streak as well (at least 20 minutes in the last three games), so don’t be surprised if the West Virginia product gets more exposure against the Bulls.
