Jets quarterback Mike White left the game several times after being hit by the Bills defense. He was able to come back and finish the game.

White told reporters earlier today that he had “no doubt” he will play on Sunday vs. the Detroit Lions.

“No, No, none at all,” White said. “Like I said Monday, I’m preparing as such until something changes. And if it does, we will cross that bridge when we get there.”

He logged a limited practice today, suggesting the rib injury is behind him.

Despite going 1-2 in three starts, the 28-year-old has averaged 317.3 yards per game (2nd in NFL.)

“Last week, we had a couple of turnovers, missed opps [opportunities] or whatever you want to call it,” White said. We just gotta keep going, executing.

“I feel like, once we get that monkey off our back, it will kind of roll from there. You gotta go out there and execute. Sometimes, you’re going to call the perfect plays and get the right coverage and sometimes you’re not and you gotta be able to handle both.

Zach Wilson will be activated after a three week absence to back up White. Jets fans should hope and pray the season doesn’t fall on his shoulders.
