(New York, NY) – Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams took to Twitter last night and said he’d answer 15 questions. New York Jet and Green Bay Packers fans are unlikely to appreciate one of his responses.

Amid speculation the Green Bay Packers could be willing to trade Rodgers, someone asked Adams what Las Vegas neighborhood the QB will be moving to. His one word response: Mine.

After benching long-time signal caller Derek Carr at the end of last season, it does appear that the Raiders are ready to move on under head coach Josh McDaniels. Could acquiring Rodgers be their preferred route?

Adams spent the first eight years of his career in Green Bay, emerging as one of the league’s best pass catchers in the NFL. The 30-year old superstar was a 6-time Pro Bowler and had three First Team All-Pro selections, before the Packers traded him to Las Vegas prior to the 2022 season. The two still reportedly have a great relationship and it appears they may rekindle in the Sin City. The issue? The salary cap. Rodgers is owed nearly $60 million next season, meaning the Raiders would need to clear a surplus of cap in order to turn the dream into a reality.

Rodgers other option? The New York Jets.

Armed with a playoff caliber defense and emerging weapons on offense, the only thing missing from the Jets equation is competent QB play. That, and the recent hire of Nathaniel Hackett as offensive coordinator (one of Rodgers’ favorite coaches in past stops), has fans hopeful #12 could wear the green and white next season. Of course, Rodgers’ level of play is much more than competent – and would have any team’s fans dreaming of a Super Bowl run – which is especially true for the long-suffering Gang Green faithful who haven’t seen a championship since 1969.

It’s not clear how much Adams knows or doesn’t know about Rodgers’ immediate future, but Jets fans are sincerely hoping his Twitter activity is not to be taken seriously.
