They say behind every successful man is a strong woman—and no doubt Tom Brady is successful. It appears Brady’s ex wife Gisele Bundchen helped Brady make his latest decision to finally retire.
The Post is reporting the former Buccaneers and Patriots quarterback is said to have talked over the matter with his ex-wife–with a source telling US weekly that she has been “a real rock.”
“Tom and Gisele are on cordial terms,” the source noted.
Brady confirmed earlier this month that he’s leaving the game, sharing an emotional video on Instagram exactly one year after he announced his first NFL retirement which lasted a little over a month. Gisele commented on the social media post saying, “Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life.”
The couple divorced in October after 13 years of marriage. They currently share custody of their 13 year old son Benjamin and 10 year old daughter Vivian.
Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million dollar deal with Fox Sports’ last spring and is set to join the booth in 2024.
