(New York, NY) — Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson has had enough of Dillon Brooks’ antics.

Towards the end of the Grizzlies’ 133-119 victory over the Dubs, Klay Thompson was fed up with Brooks yelling “You suck” from the Grizzlies’ bench. Thompson countered the trash talk by counting off four fingers towards Brooks and the Grizzlies’ bench.

“I don’t care about Dillon Brooks,” Thompson told The Commercial Appeal’s Even Barnes Saturday night. “When he retires, I don’t think anyone will ever talk about Dillon Brooks again. I promise you. It’s sweet right now, but wait 10 years.”

Brooks laughed it off after the game.

“He’s got four rings. That’s all he was saying. It’s motivation to us,” Brooks said. “We want a ring as well. Being able to go through the process of steps that we did last year, we keep going and learning from it all. It’s friendly trash talk, but I just hold a lot of real estate over there in San Francisco.”

Both teams have split their regular-season series with the home team winning each of the four games. The Warriors have lost 11 straight games on the road.

Brooks, 27, has turned into one the leagues biggest antagonists, particularly against the Warriors. Its’ not his first go-around with Golden State, as he already has feuded with Draymond Green on numerous occasions.

“If you ever wondered why the Memphis Grizzlies is not ready to compete for a championship, look no further than this idiot right here,” Green said.

Slice it however you’d like, Brooks won the battle on Saturday night. He knocked down all four of his 3-point attempts en route to an 18-point performance. The Grizzlies currently sit third in the Western Conference at 43-27, while the Warriors sit in 7th with an even 36-36 record.
