(New York, NY) — Ja Morant is okay after cryptic social media posts on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says police went to Morant’s home in Tennessee after the cryptic posts and were told that “he is taking a break from social media.”

Morant’s posts included pictures of his mom, dad, and daughter that read, “Love ya ma,” “Love ya pops,” and “You da greatest baby girl love ya.” with a final post that said nothing more than “bye.” The Instagram story posts have since been deleted.

Morant has been a subject of conversation in the NBA world after being seen with a gun again, in an Instagram live video.

“My words may not mean much right now, but I take full accountability for my actions,” Morant said in a statement after being seen with a gun for the second time. “I’m committed to continuing to work on myself.”

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said in an interview with ESPN that he was “shocked” when he saw the clip of Morant holding a gun again and that he is “assuming the worst” when it comes to the consequences.

The first gun video incident led to an eight-game suspension for Morant. After the second one, multiple reports suggested Morant could be in for a lengthy suspension next season.
