(New York) — He has yet to throw a pass, however Jets Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is already hinting on retirement with plans to hand off the job to Zack Wilson.

The Post reported that Rodgers has a plan in mind.

In an interview with CBS 2 Rodgers says, “I’d like to be able to play a few good years here and then hand it right back off to Zach, and let him go for the next 15. It’d be a really special 18-20-year run of great quarterback play.”

The 39 year old had talked about playing two seasons with the Jets. It also would mean Wilson would have to be patient for his next starting opportunity, so it’s not clear how Wilson feels about that.

Rodgers was traded to the Jets by the Packers in April.
