PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown has addressed the sideline spat he had with quarterback Jalen Hurts during their game against the Minnesota Vikings last Thursday.

Brown said it’s all good between him and Hurts, calling the altercation a “little sideline discussion,” according to ESPN.

“This is a game that we both love, and I want everybody to understand that sometimes emotions run high. That doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. That doesn’t mean I’m beefing with Jalen,” Brown said.

Brown assured that he and Hurts are still on the same page. The Eagles receiver did not speak to the media after the game explaining that he needed to clear his mind before addressing the situation.

“I know everybody took that out of context, but it’s not a big deal, me and him are still on the same page, we’re still growing, we’re still trying to become great and get wins most importantly,” Brown said.

The encounter happened as the fourth quarter of the game was getting underway and the Eagles leading by 17 points.

“The reason I left after the game is because my emotion was high, so I had to remove myself. Because I know [the media] wants a story and you all are doing your job … but I just had to clear my mind before [talking],” he said.

Brown and the Eagles will be back in the national spotlight in Week 3, when they visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Monday Night Football.
