Miles Bridges turned himself in to authorities Friday morning.

The Hornets forward had an active warrant for violation of his ex-girlfriend’s domestic violence protection order.

His ex-girlfriend told police Bridges had continually contacted her by phone and on social media. Per the report, he then shattered her car windshield with billiard balls.

The 25-year-old appeared before a district county judge and was released on a $1,000 secured bond, the release said. The alleged incident occurred in January, but the warrant was not issued until Wednesday. Bridges is already on probation for three years and also has to submit to random narcotics and marijuana testing.

The Hornets forward didn’t play in the NBA last season after he was charged with felony domestic and child abuse stemming from an alleged assault on his partner that happened in front of their children.

“We are in contact with the Hornets and gathering information,” NBA spokesperson Mike Bass said.

Its possible Charlotte will simply release him.
