(New York, NY) — A set of Lionel Messi’s World Cup jerseys could sell for over ten-million dollars.

The Argentinian soccer star has six jerseys up for auction by Sotheby’s. The match-worn first-half jerseys will be available to purchase as a collection between Nov. 30. and Dec. 14, with a portion of the final purchase price going to charity.

The auction house said the collection is set to be one of the “most valuable collection of sports memorabilia at auction.”

“Place your bids online at Sotheby’s from 30 November – 14 December. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to UNICAS Project, led by Sant Joan de Déu (SJD) Barcelona Children’s Hospital to meet the needs of children suffering from rare diseases.”

If that number is hit, the price would exceed the number for Michael Jordan’s jersey he wore in 1998 from his famous “Last Dance” season – which sold for $10.091m back in September 2022.
