NEW YORK — The new-look Knicks were back in action against the West’s top seed Minnesota Timberwolves and didn’t disappoint.

New York captured the victory 112-106, Julius Randle led the way posting 39 points accompanied by newly acquired OG Anunoby dropping 17 points of his own.

“We won the game and were up a lot of the game, so it felt good,” said Anunoby, who received a standing ovation when he fouled out in the fourth. “Just read and react, that was everything for me, really.

The Raptors latest additions wasted no time making their presence felt against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Toronto escaped with a narrow 124-121 victory propelled by 19 points from RJ Barrett along with 14 from Immanuel Quickley.

“I’m really happy, really excited to be here,” Barrett said. “I’m thankful, I’m blessed. There’s so many things I want to say, but just sums up to I’m thankful to God for this opportunity. To be traded, but then move somewhere like to come here and come home, it’s a great feeling.”

Time will tell which team won the trade, but for now both teams appear to be satisfied with their return.
