NFL: Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Justice Hill in Week 3 ran “like a star running back.”
“I thought Justice Hill really stepped up,” Harbaugh said after Hill’s the Ravens Week 3 win against the Patriots. “He was kinda the bell cow today. He made some exceptional runs. He and I have been talking about that for a couple weeks — he was gonna break out and run like a star running back, and he did.” the Ravens head coach went on to mention.
Hill scampered for 60 yards on just six carries while out-snapping J.K. Dobbins (48% to 43%.) However, Dobbins ran more pass routes and saw two targets to zero for Hill. Dobbins who is still recovering from a 2021 knee injury, out-touched the latter 9-6. Despite the slight edge in Week 3 utilization – Dobbins seems a long way off from taking on an every-down role in the Baltimore offense.
Hill is a deep league dart throw in case Dobbins misses any time but for now remains nothing more than a bench stash.
