ATALNTA – Running back Bijan Robinson might have a future as a college basketball analyst when his NFL career ends.
The Falcons superstar is one of few with a perfect bracket after day one of March Madness, correctly picking all 16 games from Thursday’s NCAAA tournament.
According to ESPN, just 1,825 (.00038 pecent) perfect brackets remain out of the 22.1 million brackets entered.
Robinson, who reposted the message, wrote, “Perfect day 1 haha kinda dope,” with a smiling emoji.
We’ll find out today if Robinson can keep it going during Friday’s 16-game slate, in which he picked some big upsets, including 15 seed Western Kentucky beating 2 seed Marquette and 12 seed Grand Canyon beating 5 seed St. Mary’s.
Can Robinson run the table and finish the tournament with a perfect bracket? No. That’s just simple Math. No one has ever done it in all the years that millions of people have been entering online pools, and mathematicians who have studied it say the odds of a perfect bracket are so long that it’s effectively impossible.
But for one day, Robinson was perfect. And if you’re wondering, the 22-year-old picked his alma mater, Texas, to win the national championship.
