Kershaw Back to LA, Inks One Year Deal with Dodgers

According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, the Dodgers and free agent left-hander Clayton Kershaw are in agreement on a one-year contract.
The finalized agreement will be worth close to $20 million. A few day ago the Dodgers decided against giving Kershaw a qualifying offer, but they wanted to let him decide his own future. Fast Foward to Friday, Kershaw now returns for a 16th consective season in Los Angeles.
The 34-year-old southpaw compiled a stellar 2.28 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 137/23 K/BB ratio across 126 1/3 innings (22 starts) last year. Kershaw is the third longest tenued player in the MLB behind Albert Pujols and Adam Wainright.
